About that extra mile

Not all us want to live ordinary life, in fact most of us want to live a life which has everything extra.. Success, money, fame, stability and status and what do we do for that..

We do what everybody does..

And if we do what everybody does we will be mediocre, to have extraordinary life you need to extraordinary efforts.

Just like in order to reach far you need to walk extra miles, in order to stand out of the crowd you need to put outstanding efforts.

Not being ordinary is about not doing ordinary..

whenever possible try to walk that extra mile.. which will make you something extra, which will make you someone different, not just from other people but from yourself, what you were a minute ago, or a week ago or may be a year ago..

  1. I love this! And it is so Biblical, too. Jesus taught for us to do more for others than what they are expecting and it is always a blessing to me when I do that . I will confess that I don’t do it often enough, so I’m inspired by your post to do it more often.

Is it possible that being different simply happens to someone naturally without making much effort? Is it also possible that no matter how much an extra-ordinary individual tries his level best to mingle with the ordinary, his difference is spotted from a distance?

I just wanted to add that its not enough just to be different or extra nowadays. You have to be more extra than the people who are extra, more different than the people who are different, more extraordinary than those who wrote the book on being extraordinary.
