“Get enough sleep“
When stressed, your body and mind needs additional sleep and rest.
Anxiety has a lot to do with your physical response to any situation which is stressful to you, so the first thing you need to do when you are feeling anxious and stressed is to give rest to your mind and body. It is important to take enough sleep.
Sleep will also reduce the risk of panic and anxiety attack. Before you sleep also take few deep breaths and switch off or keep your devices away from you.
IF YOU ARE FEELING ANXIOUS OR HAVING AN ANXIETY ATTACK then try doing following things to immediately help you calm down :
- Take deep breaths. Inhale and exhale slowly.
- Count to 10 slowly. Repeat, and count to 20 if necessary.
